Jeffrey L. Schmidt, age 43, of Morenci passed away Wednesday, April 30, at Bixby Medical Center in Adrian. He was born November 21, 1964, in Morenci the son of Richard and Sharon (Simpkins) Schmidt.
Until recently, Jeff had been employed at Tenneco Automotive in Litchfield, Michigan and he graduated from Morenci High School in 1983.
Surviving Jeff besides his parents Richard and Sharon Schmidt of Morenci, are his children, Karley Michelle and Jericha Megan Schmidt, his children's mother, Kristi Schmidt all of Morenci; two brothers, Joseph (Barbara) Schmidt of Angola, Indiana and Jason (Amy) Schmidt of Morenci; five nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Memorial services for Jeff will be Monday, May 5, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci with Pastor Darren Lemmon officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may make memorial contributions to Hope House of Jonesville.
