Charles E. Bailey

Charles E. Bailey, 54, of West Center St., Waldron passed away Monday, April 11, 2011, at his home. He was born December 23, 1956, in Huntingburg, Indiana the son of William and Norma (Miller) Bailey, Sr. He married Bertha Williams on November 10, 1973 in Morenci, Michigan and she survives.

Charles was a life long Waldron area resident and graduated from Waldron High School Class of 1974. He served in the U.S. Army and enjoyed woodworking.

Surviving Charles besides his wife, Bertha, are two daughters, Cynthia (James) Stone and Lorie (Mike) McCort all of Union City, Oklahoma: three sisters, Cathy (Joe) Han of Jasper, MI; Pam (Steve) Carlson of Alvdordton, OH; Carmen (Randy) Belcher of Montpelier, OH; one brother, Tom (Violet) Bailey of Britton, MI; mother-in-law, Shirley Williams of Waldron; sister-in-law, Joyce Swindell of Pioneer, OH; brother-in-law, Karl (Darlene) Williams, Jr. of Camden, MI and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother William Bailey Jr., and father-in-law, Karl Williams Sr.

At Charle’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements were entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home in Waldron.
