Doris E. Anthony

Doris E. Anthony, 90, of Coldwater, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater. She was born September 21, 1921 in Quincy Township, MI to Harry & Augusta (Tobalske) Ball and attended Quincy High School. Doris was a dedicated farm wife and assisted with chores on the family farm. She also enjoyed bowling.
On July 25, 1940 she married Ralph Anthony, and he preceded her in death in 2005.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Lois Timar of Coldwater; Carolyn (Dennis) Robson of Ocala FL; 2 sons, Wayne (Pat) Anthony of Coldwater; Arden (Mary Lou) Anthony of St. Joseph; 6 grandchildren, Kevin Robson, Micki Woods, Jennifer Pullins, Keith Timar, Ryan Anthony, Brent Timar; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A visitation for family and friends is scheduled Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy. Interment will be private. Memorials are suggested to CHC Hospice or a charity of one’s choice.
