Gary Lee Seeley

Gary Lee Seeley, 65, of rural Fayette, died Sunday morning, February 12, 2012, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. He was born September 27, 1946, in Hudson, MI to the late Leo G. and Helen M. (Balis) Seeley. He married Gail Martin on May 6, 1995, in Fayette, and she survives.

Gary graduated from Fayette High School class of 1964, and later attended Barber College in Toledo. He served his country as a construction engineer for the United States Army. He enjoyed pulling ponies, coon hunting, and serving as a golf caddie for his nephew. Gary attended the Fayette Christian Church-Disciples in Fayette.

Surviving Gary besides his wife, Gail, are two half-brothers; two half-sisters; two step-sisters, Linda Reisner and Carol Knepper; and an aunt Inella (Peg) Eidenier. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.

A funeral service for Gary L. Seeley will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette with Pastor Gene Sugg officiating. Interment will take place in Prattville Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday evening from 5-8 p.m., and on Thursday morning, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
