Grace C. Christian

Grace C. Christian, 101, of Bradenton, Florida and formerly a long time resident of Hudson, Michigan passed away, Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Bradenton Hospice House. She was born on August 5, 1910, in Hudson, Michigan the daughter of William and Harriet (Gerry) Smith.

Surviving Grace is a daughter, Joan (Brittain) Wagstaff of Bradenton, Florida; a son, John "Jack" (Judy) Williams of Hickory, North Carolina, a granddaughter, Staci (Brian) Hutchinson and family of Greensboro, North Carolina; a stepson, Phillip (Cathy) Christian and family of Tumwater, Washington; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a whole host of friends.

At her request cremation has taken place and a grave side service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson, Michigan on Friday, May 11, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. with Fr. Richard Eberle officiating. The Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. will also be in memory of Grace.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may make memorial contributions to Sacred Heart Catholic School. Local arrangements were entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson.
