Mildred P. Williams
February 9, 1923 - May 29, 2012
Mildred P. Williams, 89, of Waldron, Michigan passed away, Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at her home. She was born February 9, 1923, in Thief River Falls, Minnesota the daughter of John and Alvina (Angell) Borgen and she married Edward Spooner on November 17, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan and he preceded her in death on November 8, 1979. She then married Lewis Williams on May 28, 1983, in Waldron, Michigan and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1984.
Mildred was a member of the Betzer Community Church and attended the senior center's in Morenci and Fayette.
Surviving Mildred is a son, David Spooner of Wyoming, Michigan and a daughter, Sandy (Dan) Miller of Waldron, Michigan, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, two step sons, Duane (Betty) Williams of St. Johns, Michigan and Leo (Diane) Williams of Osseo, Michigan and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two sons, Eugene Sponner and Dennis Spooner, one sister, Alice Williams, one brother, Emil Borgen, one daughter in-law, Diana Spooner and one step daughter.
Funeral services for Mildred will be Friday, June 1, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson with Pastor Kim Repp officiating. Interment will follow in Waldron Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m.
