Chris Evers

April 25, 1965 - June 9, 2012

Chris Evers, 47, of Morenci passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012, at home. He was born on April 25, 1965, in Morenci the son of John & Elva (DeMeritt) Evers.

Chris has been a Morenci area resident all of his life and was a graduate of the Morenci High School. He was formerly employed at Sauders in Archbold as a maintenance man for over twenty years and recently at a dairy farm near Hudson. Chris loved the outdoors and hunting.

Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer, Renee and Candi all of Morenci; his mother, Elva of Morenci; and three brothers, John of Waldron, Steve of Adrian and Craig (Jeanne) Evers of Morenci.

Chris was preceded in death by his father in 2010.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci with Pastor Nathan Elarton officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci. There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 3-5 & 6-8 PM
