Sally Ann Porter
December 20, 1938 - June 13, 2012
Sally Ann Porter, 73, of Hillsdale, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 20, 1938 in Hillsdale, her parents were Ernest & Laura (Rose) Ringman.
Sally was a graduate of Hillsdale High School. She loved quilting, babysitting, reading, going to yard sales, gambling with scratch off tickets and going to Firekeepers. She was everyone's "Grandma Sally".
Surviving are six children, Chuck Ferguson, Colleen Ridenour, Jody Borton and Ken (Jackie) Hodge, all of Hillsdale and Laura Wilson and Peggy Bills, both of Hanover; 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren; siblings, Peggy Bemis and Ken Cox, both of Hillsdale.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister.
A memorial visitation for Sally Porter will be Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at the McCall's Reception Center, 123 E. Carleton Rd., in Hillsdale. Arrangements are entrusted to the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
