Betty Eileen Rosendaul

November 13, 1944 - June 15, 2012

Betty Eileen Rosendaul, 67, of Quincy, died Friday, June 15, 2012, at the Community Health Center of Branch County. She was born November 13, 1944 in Coldwater MI, the daughter of Paul D. and Chloe (Rodgers) Adams.

Betty graduated from Coldwater High School in 1963. She worked as a secretary for many years and later ran a day-care business from her home, loving the many children for whom she cared. She also enjoyed flowers, gardening, shabby-chic decorating and her cat, Tinkerbelle. Betty was known for her dry, irreverent sense of humor, love of organizing, and attention to detail.

On December 24, 1965 she married Ron Rosendaul, and he preceded her in death Jan. 19, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Chuck Adams and Lyle Adams.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Rosendaul of Quincy; her partner, Jerry King of Tekonsha; 4 sisters, Genevieve Goheen of Tekonsha; Joyce Blair of Coldwater; Evelyn Espinoza of Coldwater; Beverly Adams-Estes of Coldwater, and 2 brothers, James Adams and Maynard Adams of Battle Creek.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 AM, at Lakeview Cemetery, Quincy, with Pastor Mark Case officiating. Visitation is scheduled Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.

Memorials may be made to the Quincy Library.

Betty was My Aunt, she was married to my mother's brother Ron, we lost contact after his death, I am sad she is gone, may she rest in eternal peace.

So sad to hear of Betty's passing! She was a wonderful person with such a big heart! Both of my children attended her daycare for many years and during that time we became good friends. Later we both got into the Beanie Baby craze and would laugh at ourselves as we did it! My thoughts and prayers are you the family and Jerry. Rest in peace Betty, you will never be forgotten! xoxo
