Iva Willis

Iva Frances Willis, 97, longtime Allen area resident, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012, in Avon Park FL. She was born August 25, 1914 in Wayne, MI to William T. and Frances (Stephenson) Pengelly. Iva was a self-employed real estate salesperson.

She married Daniel H. Willis in 1931 and he preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons, David Willis and Daniel H. Willis, Jr.; 4 brothers, 1 sister, 1 grandson and 1 great-grandson. Surviving are 2 daughters, JoAnne Elliott of Avon Park FL; Diane Wedemeier of Venice FL; 1 sister, Elizabeth Dobson of Allen; 1 brother, Robert Pengelly of Coldwater; and 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 10:00 AM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy, with Pastor Craig Pahl officiating. Interment will follow in Allen Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
