Betty L. Marshall

Betty L. Marshall, 86, of Pittsford, Michigan passed away, Monday, June 25, 2012, at Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility. She was born May 30, 1926, in Hudson, Michigan the daughter of Fred W. and Hazel F. (McQueen) Frownfelter. She married Richard R. Marshall on November 30, 1946 and he preceded her in death on June 2, 2002.

Betty and her husband owned and operated Marshall's Market for 26 years and she was a member of First Congregational Church of Pittsford.

Surviving Betty are two daughters, Sharon (Rex) LeaTrea of Adrian, Michigan and Charlotte Marshall of Hillsdale, Michigan; two sons, Roberts Marshall and Richard Marshall Jr. both of Pittsford, Michigan; five grandchildren, Matthew (Autumn), Mark (Cindy), Timothy (Patricia), Anthony (Lynze) and Stephanie; eight great grandchildren, Alex, Megan, Elizabeth, Katelynn, Alyssa, Mikaela, James and Branigan; one brother, Robert E. (Kay) Frownfelter of Romeo, Michigan; two sister in-laws, Darlene Frownfelter of Blissfield, Michigan and Nancy (Lloyd) Baker of Hanover, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Richard A. Frownfelter and three sisters, Ona Mae Anderson, Dorothy McCance and Elaine Moyer.

At Betty's request cremation has taken place. There will be a grave side service at Leonardson Cemetery in Pittsford on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Terry Bobzien officiating. Those planning an expression of sympathy may make memorial contributions to First Congregational Church of Pittsford.

Local arrangements were entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson.
