Leo Helinski

Leo Helinski, 67, of Waldron passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on July 30, 1945, the son of Edward and Velma (Koss) Helinski.

Leo graduated from Waldron High School Class of 1963. He retired from Ingersoll Rand of Bryan, Ohio in 2007, with over 40 years of service and served his country during peace time in the U.S. Air Force.

Surviving Leo is a daughter, Gwen (Richard) Farrell Jr. of Waldron, Michigan; a son, Eric Helinski of Waldron, Michigan; one sister, Helen Yager of Hudson, Michigan; a special friend, Connie Simmons of Manitou, Beach, Michigan; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Caroline, two brothers, Arthur and Albert and a son, Tracy in infancy.

At Leo's request cremation has taken place and there will be a graveside service on Monday, August 6, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Waldron Cemetery with Pastor Kim Repp officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson.
