Betty Lee Ona

Betty Lee Ona, 58, of Camden, passed away Wednesday (8-08-12) at her home. Born April 4, 1954 in Anderson, SC she was the daughter of Walter and Bonnie Mae (Brown) Anderson. Betty worked for the US Postal Service. She loved visiting the casinos, traveling, planting roses, and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, William Ona, whom she married August 26, 1989; her mother, Bonnie Givens of Camden; 3 daughters, Sabrina (Roger) Crowe of Novi; Patricia (Jason) Groves of Fairbanks AK; Holly Ona of Tucson AZ; 2 sons, Stewart (Robyn) Scrimger of Warren; Charles Ona of Hanover; 1 brother, Tommy (Kathy) Anderson of Camden; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Her father preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading. Visitation is scheduled Sunday from 12:00 noon until time of service. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
