Kipling Vandenberg

March 9, 1951 - August 7, 2012

Kipling Vandenberg, 61, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at his home. He was born March 9, 1951 in Hillsdale to Jay & Julia Ellen (Hoover) Vandenberg.

Kipling was a retired Environmental Chemist and formerly owned and operated his own laboratory. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University.

Kipling is survived by his sister, Jaynee Vandenberg of Lampe, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Robert and Grace Hoover.

Graveside services for Kipling Vandenberg will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 1:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsdale. There will be no visitation or calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

i am so sorry for your loss of kipling vandenberg but i am sure that he is in a better place with god and i but that he is watching over us right now i hope that we will see everyone in heaven somedayand may god comfort you in this time of sorrow

I am sorry for your loss. I was also sorry that the service took place earlier than published. I arrived at 1245 and another car also came by. The people doing the enterment informed me you had to leave. Would have liked to have seen you but do understand. I knew Kip in grade school at Gier then he moved. I lived just 5 doors south of your home on Rippon avenue. It is so sad to lose someone so earlier in his life. May God be with you and your family during this time of sorrow. May your good memories give you comfort.
