Dalice C. Williams

Dalice C. Williams, 83, of Litchfield, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017, at his home. Born August 24, 1933, in Paintsville, Kentucky, he was the son of Ollie and Ida (Jackson) Williams. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was employed at Midwest Foundry in Coldwater. He enjoyed the outdoors and playing cards and pool. Dalice also enjoyed playing baseball with his children and loved attending the high school sporting events of his children and grandchildren.
On December 2, 1961, he married Janice Vene (Miller) and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters: Sally Ann (Al) Campbell of Norwalk, Ohio, and Vanice (Bruce) Buckholz of Litchfield; four sons, Valice Williams of Litchfield, Vance Williams of Battle Creek, Ollie (Josie) Williams of Montgomery, and James (Ashley) Williams of Coldwater; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one grandson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield with Reverend Michael Murray officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Litchfield. Visitation is scheduled Monday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the family, c/o Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel.
