Lyle Burton Lemmon

Lyle Burton Lemmon, 85, of Camden, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at his home. He was born September 11, 1931 in Montpelier, Ohio to Harvey and Leona (Traxler) Lemmon.
He was a graduate of Camden High School. He had been employed as a mail carrier and was a farmer. Lyle enjoyed gardening, loved the Detroit Tigers and baseball. He was a member of the Camden Lions Club, Rural Letters Carrier Association and the Jayco Trailer Club.
Survivors include his wife Sally who he married April 18, 1994; daughters, Beverly Lemmon of Colorado and Margo (Cliff) Fether of Waldron; daughter in laws, Nancy Lemmon of Reading and Lori Lemmon of Jonesville; sister, Donnavea (Frank) Stahler of Montpelier, Ohio; brother, Denton “Cork” Lemmon of Camden; eleven grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, John McElhenie; his first wife Margaret; two sons, Fred and Dewayne; one grandchild and one sister, Onalea Smith.
Funeral services for Lyle Burton Lemmon will be Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading with Phred Cain officiating. Interment will follow in Camden Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the funeral home.
