Amy J. Cloutier
September 17, 1955 - July 29, 2017
Amy J. “Jo” Cloutier, 61, of Hudson, died Saturday evening, July 29, 2017, at the Coleman Foundation in Hudson, under the care of Great Lakes Hospice, following a brief battle with cancer. She was born September 17, 1955, in New York City, NY, to E. George and Rose (Abbate) Cloutier.
Amy was known for her kind heart and sassy disposition. She was a Star Trek movie fan and lover of country music, particularly Keith Urban. She was fond of her “girls” and staff at her residence in Hudson where she had been for 33 years.
She graduated from Oakland Training Institute, Lamphere, in the early '80's. She has been involved in Community Mental Health of Lenawee County's work and activity program in Adrian for a long time since then. She attended Goodwill most recently.
We miss her already. Who will we get to dance to “Sweating with the Oldies” with us?
Amy is survived by her sisters, Wendy Cloutier and Terry Palmer of Midland, MI, and Gail Morrison and Danny Blanchard of Mechanic Falls, Maine.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service for Amy will be held Monday, August 7, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. at Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson with Deacon John Amthor officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Uncasville, CT, at a later date.
Memorial contributions in honor of Amy can be made to the Coleman Foundation or Great Lakes Hospice.
