Donna Rose Strang
August 6, 1926 - August 12, 2017
Donna Rose Strang was welcomed into heaven by her Savior on August 12, 2017 from her place of residence, Drews Place of Coldwater. Donna was born August 6, 1926 in Quincy to Norman and Myra (Biglow) Potter. She married Richard Strang on March 22, 1947 in Angola, Indiana.
She graduated from Quincy High School in 1944. Donna was a receptionist for Baldwin Clinic for 18 years. She attended the Union Church and was a lifelong resident of Quincy.
Donna is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws, Tim (Vicky) Strang of Adrian and Norman (Sherie) Strang of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle) of Gilbert, Arizona, Andrea (Tyler) of Adrian, Lisa (Levi) of Jerome and Maya and Slayden of Dallas, Texas; great grandchildren, LeeAnne, Louis and Lorelai Haas, Mattie and McKinley Strang and Peyton Morgan; sister-in-law, Margaret Potter of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; one sister; one brother and a great grandchild.
Donna will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was known for her sweet smile, her love of crocheting and taking loving care of her family for many years and being a member of the Rotary Meal Committee.
Funeral services for Donna Strang will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy with Pastor Joey Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy. The family will receive friends Friday, August 25 from 5-8 at the funeral home.
