Martin Frank Laurimore

Martin F. Laurimore, 78, of Coldwater, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 at Maple Lawn in Coldwater. He was born October 5, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio to Burley and Mary (Knierim) Laurimore. Martin married Amelia “Amy” Peake on July 7, 1989 and she survives.
He attended photography school in Chicago and became a professional photographer. In the 1970’s Martin owned and operated the Econ-a-mizer gas station and convenience store. He also had worked for Walter’s Dimmick for 15 years, volunteered at Tibbits and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Coldwater and then the Coldwater United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife Amelia, Martin is survived by Daughter, Jenny (Carl) Ciesiolka of Mishawaka, IN; sons, Peter (Sherrie) Laurimore of California and Tim (Lulu) Blodgett of Texas; sister, Ann Laurimore of Traverse City; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Martin was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services for Martin Frank Laurimore will be Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Coldwater United Methodist Church with Reverend Julie Yoder Elmore officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy
Memorials are suggested to the Maple Lawn activity fund.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
