Carol Ann Marsh
January 31, 1944 - January 6, 2018
Carol Ann Marsh, 73, of Quincy, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Promedica Coldwater Regional Hospital. She was born January 31, 1944 in Coldwater to Robert J. and Ethlyn Rae (Thompkins) Knepper. Carol married her high school sweetheart, Gearld Marsh on August 16, 1964 and he survives.
She graduated from Quincy High School in 1962. Carol had been employed at Coldwater High School for 14 years as a Para Pro and had sold Avon for 20 years. She served as superintendant of arts and crafts for the Branch County Fair, 4H leader for 16 years and project leader with Algansee Farm Boosters for over 40 years. She won the Homemaker of the Year award in 1990. Carol enjoyed arts and crafts, painting, liquid embroidery and attending crafts shows but most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Gearld, Carol is survived by her mother, Ethlyn of Coldwater; daughter, Angela (Darin) Higbee of Reading; son, Ed (Shirley) Marsh of Montgomery; sister, Sue (Jim) Campbell of Battle Creek and grandchildren, Garrett Marsh, Mandy Higbee, Brent Marsh, Cody Higbee and Nathan Marsh.
Carol was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services for Carol Ann Marsh will be Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy with Pastor Herb Strickland officiating. Interment will follow in Fisher Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, January 11 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
