Dorothy E. McDowell, 95, of Morenci, passed away Wednesday morning, March 14, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her loving family and in the care of Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Born September 2, 1922, in Chrisman, IL, she was the daughter of the late David and Ora (Powers) Morgan. She loved attending the many sporting events and school activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loyal Detroit Tigers and Lions fan. She enjoyed watching plays and musicals at the Croswell Opera House in Adrian. An avid reader, Dorothy volunteered for many years in the Elementary Host program where her service was recognized.
