Diane Lynn Brubaker

Diane Lynn Brubaker, 66, of E. Main St., Fayette, died Wednesday evening, March 14, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her cherished family. Born March 23, 1951, in Hudson, MI, she was the youngest child born to the late Roy and Maude (Whipple) Snyder. Diane lived her early life between Toledo and the Jasper, MI area, and later Liberty Center, OH. She graduated with the very first Four County Career Center class in 1969.
Diane married Roger Earl Brubaker on March 31, 1978, in Delta, OH, and he preceded her in death on January 28, 2007. Since the 1990’s, she has worked for Ron Ernsberger at his companies, Vision Molded Plastics in Napoleon, and later 2020 Custom Plastics in Holiday City. She most recently worked in its Human Resources department until her retirement in October of 2017.
She had longtime memberships with the Wauseon American Legion and VFW auxiliaries, and previously had belonged to the Order of Eastern Star. She also was a member of the Fayette Christian Church-Disciples.
Diane enjoyed camping throughout her life. Times she cherished most were making memories with her beloved family, and she especially adored her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, JoLynn (Jack) Curtis of Bryan, Debbie Brubaker of Wauseon, Scott (Lea) Brubaker of Wauseon, Rob (Peggy) Brubaker of Fayette, David Brubaker of Colorado Springs, CO, and Marc Brubaker of Fayette; fifteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband of over 29 years, Roger, Diane was preceded in death by her five siblings, Martin, Pat, Beverly, Donald, and Nancy; and a granddaughter, Jessica Curtis.
A funeral service for Diane will be held Monday, March 19, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Gene Sugg officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Napoleon, OH. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday afternoon, from 2-8 p.m.
Memorial contributions in honor of Diane can be made to benefit Great Lakes Caring Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
