Priscilla "Pat Jenkins" Ann Briner

December 27, 1933 - June 7, 2018

Priscilla “Pat Jenkins” Ann Briner, 84, of Hillsdale, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Hillsdale Hospital. She was born December 27, 1933 in Heartland Center, Ohio to Douglas and Dorothy (Darling) Hines.

She graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1971. Priscilla was a member of the Red Hat Ladies, the Eagles and Cambria Baptist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved camping, crocheting and knitting.

Priscilla married William Briner on October 12, 2007 and he survives. She is also survived by her children, Karen (W.L.) Evans of Apopka, FL, Orrie (Carolyn) Close of New Era, MI, Tina Close of Camden; Karol (Mark) Kidd of Astatula, FL, Kathy Cross of Mt. Dora, FL, Ozzie Close of Orlando, FL, Dave (Missy) Hess of Jonesville, Tom (Susan) Hess of Reading, Maurice (Connie) Jenkins of Pittsford, Kathy (Dale) Flaugher of Reading, Donnie (Chris) Jenkins of Hillsdale, Pam (Tony) Hugel of North Ridgeville, OH, Marylou (Karen) Briner of Columbus, OH and Charles (Jennifer) Briner of Shelby, OH; brother, Richard Hines of Asheboro, NC; 29 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Maurice “Pete” Jenkins; two sons, Owen and Orville “Butch”; grandson, Wayne and great grandson, Tyler.

Funeral services for Priscilla “Pat Jenkins” Briner will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading with Reverend Alan Fenstermaker officiating. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 4-8 at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to St. Judes or the Paralyzed Veterans Fund.
