Charles Peter Rinck

Charles Peter Rinck, 73, of Adrian, formerly of Hudson, died Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Regency Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio. Born November 17, 1944, in Lansing, he was the son of the late Arthur William and Ruth Eleanor (Wise) Rinck.
A 1962 graduate of Hudson Area Schools, Charles learned the skill of instrument reading at a trade school and took over operations of the family farm in Medina Township. He also worked for Wacker Chemaical Corporation in Tecumseh for 28 years prior to his formal retirement in 1998.
Charles was a past member of the Clayton Fire Department and drove bus for the Rural Bible Mission. An outdoorsman at heart, his greatest passion was working the land. He also enjoyed volunteering annually at the Lenawee County Fair, assisting the 4-H Clubs in the pig barn. A generous soul, he was always willing to help out a friend in need.
Surviving are four daughters, LynnAnn (Bryon) Colley of Horton, MI, LeeAnn Howard of Morenci, Pamela (Jason) Cupp of Coldwater, OH, and Rebecca Rinck of Adrian; a son, Scott (Daisy) Rinck of Morenci; two brothers, Phil (Linda) Rinck of Pittsford and Claude (Brenda) Rinck of Adrian; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Rinck, and a son-in-law, Chris Howard.
A funeral service for Charles will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at the Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson with Rev. William VanValkenburg officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday evening, from 5-8 p.m.
Memorial contributions in honor of Charles are suggested to benefit Lenawee County 4-H.
