Three Generations of Family Ownership in the Communities where we live.

Eagle Funeral Homes Inc., was founded in 1933 by Marcus Ford Eagle with a small funeral home in Waldron, Michigan. Ford soon expanded the funeral business to include a chapel in Hudson.
When Ford retired, his son Joe continued to provide funeral services to the families in Hillsdale and Lenawee counties from the chapels in Hudson and Waldron.

Joe and his wife Phyllis continued the family tradition by expanding the business to include chapels in Hillsdale, Jonesville and Morenci, Michigan before his retirement in 1999. After over 44 years of providing family funerals Joe moved the management to its current 3rd generation of family ownership.
Today, sons-in-law John Barrett and Mark Monahan along with their families direct the funeral service business in the family tradition that Marcus Ford Eagle started over 70 years ago.
Throughout the history of our family business one goal has remained constant, and that is to provide the highest level of caring service to the communities where we reside. We are here to offer support and guidance in your time of need. Please think of us as one of your family as we do of you.
